Refund and Chargeback Policy

Shopper purchases from stores

Each store on Tajr sets and publishes its own refund and exchange policy. Refund and cancellation requests go to the merchant first; the merchant approves them, and the refund goes back to the original payment method as follows:

Cards through Tajr Payments: once the merchant approves the refund, it is processed through Tajr support within 14 business days of approval and returns to the same card.
Cards through the merchant's own Tap account, and buy-now-pay-later (Tabby, Tamara): the merchant issues the refund from that provider's dashboard or portal.
Either way, the amount returns to the same method and usually appears within 5–14 business days depending on the bank or provider.
Cash on delivery and bank transfer: the merchant refunds the customer directly.

If a merchant does not respond, the customer can escalate to Tajr support at support@tajr.ae or +971 50 776 0579 and we will follow up with the merchant.

Chargebacks

When an issuing bank raises a dispute, we ask the merchant for proof of order and delivery within the deadline set by the payment provider. Repeated chargebacks may lead to the store being suspended.

Tajr's own fees

Plan fees are non-refundable unless charged in error or where the law requires a refund. A cancelled paid plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, then moves to the Free plan; the unused part is not refunded.

Tajr wallet balance is non-refundable, including when an account is closed, except where the law requires a refund.

Any refund Tajr issues is processed within 14 business days of approval.
